how to book
All days are pre booked at the time of registration and remain on a set schedule.
Any changes must be discussed with your trainer.
WHAT TO BRING
All dogs must arrive on a properly fitted harness/collar and leash. No retractable leashes please.
Please bring enough food rewards for the many training sessions we will be doing throughout the day. Bring more than you think your dog will need; your dog is new to learning and will be distracted by the new environment. Have the food precut into pea sized pieces. Soft treats are best, as they can be swallowed quickly without much chewing. Some examples of better rewards are: freeze dried liver, leftovers (chicken, beef or pork roast), wieners, lunch meat, cheese, food rolls (such as Rollover or Natural Balance). You can also find commercial treats, but be sure they’re fairly healthy. While it might be tempting to bring your dog’s kibble, this likely won’t be tempting enough for a distracted dog. Later, when your dog is more experienced, you can use their meals for training.
Please bring treats in Ziploc bags, and put those in a larger bag to keep everything together. We ask that you do not bring containers that need to be washed or returned.
Do not bring sick dogs to Day School. If your dog is coughing, sneezing, has a runny nose or eyes, or has vomited or had diarrhea within the last 24 hours, please keep them at home. Sick dogs will not enjoy their day with us, and may spread illness to other dogs in our facility.
Please potty your dog before drop off. Dogs who urinate or defecate inside, shortly after arriving will be reminded for the following time only. We take care of your dog’s needs while they are with us; please do your part before drop off.
Dogs are required to have all vaccinations up to date. Proof of titres acceptable.
Bordetella is recommended, but not mandatory
We treat our space as we treat our home. While we understand that accidents happen, dogs who mark indoors will be asked not to return.
